Blair`s Shoulder Knot

Lade - 0630hrs - Mild, cloudy, showery, wsw4 - A mildish night, so 5 species in the trap this morning, including Blair`s Shoulder Knot, a classic autumn moth and the first of the year.
Still a few Goldcrest and Chiffs calling in the garden, plus a passage of 50 House Martins south.
Over the pits 100 Swallows and House Martins, 2 Wheatears, Stonechat and 10 Chiffchaffs in the willows. All the usual ducks hugging the margins sheltering from the brisk westerly.

Checked the beach this afternoon, but much as yesterday apart from 5 Brents on the sands.
